See you next time!
See you next time!
I’ve always had a bit of a longing to make little stop motion animations and I have had a go here and there in the past. The first time I did one was while (not) doing my homework many moons ago! I remember taking a series of photographs of a prit stick rocket taking off and the lid falling off to land on some unsuspecting blu tac model of a person – splat! Ha ha! I’m not sure the quality of my videos is any better than it was back then but it’s so much fun to try!
I have a couple of little films on my youtube channel – yes I have one of those! Much to my own surprise too! I added another one a couple of days ago, this one is showing how to make one of my amigurumi kits and to start off it looks like that’s all it is, but wait for it …….. I have some teeny little helpers turn up! I hope you have as much fun watching it as I did making it, I do plan to do more in the near future too.
Here is my latest video:
If you wanted to buy one of my kits or my little helpers they are available in my Etsy shop here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MissGsGorgeousGifts
I also have some in Quillies in Rhayader, Talgarth Mill Craft Shop in Talgarth, Charlotte of Hay in Hay-on-Wye, and The Wyeside Arts Centre in Builth Wells.
I made a video of what you’ll find inside my brand new amigurumi kits! This one features my amigurumi dog. And here it is! https://youtu.be/W3Jih8KnQ3c
I am planning on doing some more videos – hopefully of me making them. I quite fancy doing a stop frame animation type of the making process, that could be fun!
I’m pleased to announce that my kits are all in my Etsy shop now! There are lots of different colours for you to choose from I have a feeling pink is going to be popular!
Bye for now!
I’m about ready to launch my amigurumi kits, these are larger versions of my little amigurumi made using chunky yarn and a 4mm hook so much easier to make than my little fiddly ones.
Here are the contents, everything you need to make an amigurumi dog:
The finished dog is about 10cm high. I’ve also made kits for my bunny and cat patterns too.
It doesn’t end there though! I also have a support page set up on my website here, with some little videos on techniques used in the patterns and an faq page too – these will be added to over time as people get in touch with questions, I’ve started them off with help from my pattern testers.
I’m also hoping people will send me in pictures of their finished creations I can then add those too.
These kits will be available for the first time at Wonderwool Wales, (on stand B11 with Powys Creative) I’ll then be adding them to my Etsy shop and some of the bricks and mortar shops that I supply too – exciting times!!
